The Golden Royal Boutique Hotel & Spa was the first hotel in Slovakia to open the Indian Ayurvedic Spa Rasajána. Strengthen and revitalise your body to be more resistant to diseases and the aging process.
Ayurveda, ”the science of life“, says that the human body is composed of five basic elements, namely water, earth, fire, air and ether. It is one of the oldest healing methods, which dates back 5000 years in history and today, is still the most widely used method of treatment.
This historic hotel is situated in the centre of Kosice. It was first opened as a guesthouse in 1996 and 12 years later, in 2008, it went through a demanding reconstruction and was classified as a Boutique hotel.
In the area of the hotel, you will often meet with the hotel slogan ”We wish you to be satisfied“, which describes the advantages of this family hotel.
All the dishes that we tasted were presented very nicely by the chef, it was excellent. The smiling and friendly waiter can charm you with his gentle manner whilst serving dishes.
After receiving input card of your room, you may look for a lift to take your room. Don´t bother looking, because it doesn´t have one. But do not worry, the hotel has only two floors.
We would like to mention that a honoured guest of this hotel was the Slovak president.
In the old part of the hotel, each room has a pretentious name according to what style is created. The new building has rooms with standard numbering.
Beds offer an anatomical shaping mattress with memory function. Bathrooms are equipped with luxury cosmetics.
The hotel offers four meeting rooms, the largest accommodates up to 180 people and the smallest up to 10 people.
Don´t worry about your car, because the free outdoor parking lot is directly connected to the city police, who continuously watch over the area via the installed CCTV and security system.
The restaurant in the winter garden offers international cuisine, which is air conditioned in summer and heated in winter. It offers you not only greenery, but also serves you with quality meals. The hotel offers three restaurants.
As a hotel guest you automatically receive a 10% discount on all food consumed in GOLDEN ROYAL restaurants during the day.
The Tuscan garden is completely non-smoking and located indoors, which can be connected to the congress hall. A nice area with sofa and stylish fireplace can be used as well as beautifully arranged seating at the tables.
The French lounge introduces its guests to the atmosphere of French countryside, where they can enjoy fine wine and unforgettable gourmet specialties.
The Business Lounge is ideal for private undisturbed seating.
Breakfast is included in price and is in the form of buffet. We recommend that you taste the local sweets, which are prepared for you in the local hotel kitchen.
The hotel thanks to its large capacity, offers wedding banquets and professional staff are able to care for up to 250 people at once. Thanks to delicious seasonings, the restaurant gained loyal customers, who do not hesitate to come here every day for lunch or dinner. After eating the delicious dinner, treat yourself with a Pilsner Urquell draft beer.
The Indian spa is located in a pleasant environment in the lower part of the hotel, where you meet a high standard of services offered. Throughout your visit, willing and qualified staff will take care of you and pour you a delicious and detoxical drink, which contains the composition of boiled water, ginger, mint and honey.
Access to the spa is totally free of charge for two hours for hotel guests. Each client is equipped with a bathrobe, bed sheet and a towel. The spa includes a whirlpool tub, heated outdoor Jacuzzi, indoor pool, Finnish sauna and steam sauna.
Personally, we suggest you to try the Shirodhara anti-stress package. The principle lies in the warm oil dripping on the front of the skull. This procedure has cleansing effects and affects the hormonal and nervous systems, which is suitable for relieving frequent headaches, migraines, etc.
Packages starting at €50, offer a variety of treatments such as reduction, rejuvenating, relaxation of stiff muscles and back pain, wellness, women's package for face and hands care, legs or yoga exercises. Massage is performed by trained and professional Ayurvedic therapists.
